The UCLA Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) Campus Resource Center (CRC) holds events, resources, counseling, advocacy and more for UCLA students and staff of all genders and sexual/romantic orientations, based on its about webpage. Inverted Fountain UCLA
The well-known fountain with a long history
The Inverted Fountain UCLA is the famous fountain that has inspired several orientation traditions and superstitions. It is called the Inverted Fountain because rather than spraying upwards as a spring, the fountain’s spring descends into a crater below. UCLA Commencement 2024 will take place between Thursday, June 13 and Sunday, June 16. According to the UCLA Commencement FAQ webpage, there are approximately 70 individual ceremonies during commencement weekend. Remembering Powell Cat, a perspective from a 2024 graduating student who met the late legendary cat
UCLA Powell Cat, the stray tuxedo cat that lived on campus near the Powell Library, remains an icon for many students graduating this spring quarter. Although they unfortunately passed away in March 2023, Powell’s Cat’s legacy lives on for many graduating classes to come. Many fans within the Bruin community prefer to use they/them pronouns for Powell Cat as its sex was never determined.
