University Apartments

There are 13 off-campus apartment complexes operated through UCLA Housing: Gayley Court, Gayley Heights, Glenrock, Gayley Towers, Glenrock West, Landfair, Landfair Vista, Laurel, Levering Terrace, Palo Verde, Tipuana, Westwood Chateau and Westwood Palms. 

This housing is reserved for single, undergraduate upper-division students, including first-year transfer students. All of the University Apartment complexes are within walking distance of the main UCLA campus and Westwood Village. Each unit comes with appliances and furniture, as well as gas, electricity, water, basic cable TV and high-speed internet included in the housing contract. All housing costs are paid through students’ BruinBill.

University Cooperative Housing

The University Cooperative Housing (co-op) provides affordable housing to UCLA students and is a housing resource Bruins can consider when looking for apartments. There are three co-op buildings: Hardman Hansen Hall, Essene Hall and Robison Hall. More information is available through the link below.

Other Westwood Village apartments

One resource that may be useful to Bruins seeking other apartments in Westwood is BruinShack, a listing site operated by UCLA alumni. This website has peer reviews, transparent pricing and comprehensive listings of apartments near UCLA. Each listing also includes the time it takes to walk or drive to the Bruin Bear statue in Bruin Plaza, giving students an idea of how long their commute to the heart of campus might be.
