UCLA Women’s Basketball 

The UCLA Women’s Basketball team finished their successful 2023-2024 season on March 30, having made it to the third round of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Tournament. According to a UCLA Athletics’ report on the team, the No. 2 seed UCLA Women’s Basketball team had a loss in the third round of the tournament against Louisiana State University (LSU) in Albany, New York at the MVP Arena, ending their season; however, the team celebrated many wins in its season this year. The Bruins had a highly successful 2023-2024 basketball season with 25 total wins.

For 2023-2024, the UCLA Women’s Basketball team had a skillful group of coaches to support the team. At the time of publishing, Cori Close is the Michael Price Family UCLA women’s head basketball coach alongside Shannon LeBeauf who is the associate head coach. Alongside Close and LeBeauf are Tasha Brown, Tony Newnan, Soh Matsuura and Atonye Nyingifa help the team as assistant coaches. Apart from the coaches and staff are a team of 12 talented athletes.
