At Kerckhoff Coffeehouse, coffee lovers can choose from a variety of brews: lattes, drip coffee, cold brew, nitro cold brew, etc. The cafe also provides milk substitutions like almond and soy milk for those who are dairy-free. Customers have the option to pay a few extra cents for free trade coffee to support sustainable, ethical coffee farming and production.

Aside from coffee, the cafe offers baked goods like muffins, danishes and bagels. For customers who might be looking for more of a meal, try the grilled cheese and tomato soup combo or one of the wraps and sandwiches.

What makes Kerckhoff Coffeehouse unique is undoubtedly the location and ambience. On the outside, Kerckhoff Hall is a gorgeous gothic building and the inside has a similarly strong aesthetic; the cafe’s red brick walls, stained glass windows and decorated wood panels create a sense of history and elegance. Meanwhile, the background music, whirs from coffee machines and hum of conversation from other customers maintains a busy yet charming on-campus atmosphere.

For regularly returning coffeehouse customers, Associated Students UCLA (ASUCLA) Restaurants offers a coffee membership: Bruin Barista card. For a $100 subscription, Bruins can save up to 40% on coffee at any ASUCLA coffeehouse, including Kerckhoff Coffeehouse. The card is valid for 30 medium-sized drinks over a 100-day membership, and there’s no limit on the number of redeemable drinks members can get per day. UCLA students, staff, faculty and UCLA community at large can purchase a card at any ASUCLA coffeehouse and enjoy their discounted coffee at any time on campus.
