Save up to 40% on coffee across ASUCLA coffeehouses with the newly expanded Bruin Barista membership

Bruin Barista Coffee Subscription

Valid for 30 medium-sized coffees over 100 days, ASUCLA’s Bruin Barista membership can be redeemed at any ASUCLA coffeehouse across the UCLA campus — a $164 value!

Los Angeles, Calif., Oct. 6, 2022 – Building on the popularity of last year’s Anderson Café Coffee Subscription, Associated Students UCLA’s (ASUCLA) latest offering now allows Bruins to save up to 40% on coffee at any ASUCLA coffeehouse with the Bruin Barista card.

For $100, the subscription expansion offers one card tier, the Bruin Barista, which is valid for 30 medium-sized drinks over a 100-day membership. Up to a $164 value, the Bruin Barista plan does not limit the number of redeemable drinks per day and is available to all UCLA students, staff, faculty and the Bruin coffee-lover community at large to enjoy.

“We had such a great response to our Anderson Café Coffee Subscription last year,” ASUCLA Restaurant Operations Manager Laura Ortiz, said. “Expanding the program to all ASUCLA coffeehouses is a move we know will benefit everyone no matter where they are on campus.”

Drinks eligible are not just limited to cups of brewed coffee, either; Bruins can also choose from barista hand-crafted beverages. Furthermore, milk substitutions are now included in the Bruin Barista plan. All other customizations are available upon request at an additional fee.

The Bruin Barista card is accepted at all ASUCLA coffeehouses, including Jimmy’s and Café 451 offering Intelligentsia; Kerckhoff, Music Café and Bruin Buzz with public domain coffee; Anderson Café proudly pouring Starbucks; and Southern Lights and Café Synapse with Peet’s Coffee. Bruins interested in saving on their daily brew can purchase a Bruin Barista card at any of the locations listed above to begin redeeming drinks thereafter.
