Bruin One Access serves as another step in facilitating access to academic materials
Launching in fall 2024, the Bruin One Access subscription provides UCLA students with undergraduate required course materials for the quarter for the single rate of $129.
Los Angeles, Calif., Sept. 16, 2024 – For the flat-rate price of $129, UCLA students can now have access to their undergraduate required course materials, regardless of the number of courses, major or quantity of course materials, for the quarter through Bruin One Access.
A new UCLA Store Textbooks program launching in the fall quarter, Bruin One Access is further increasing the accessibility of course materials among UCLA undergraduate students, directly through the UCLA Learning Management System, Bruin Learn.
Priced at a flat quarterly rate of $129, Bruin One Access eliminates the question of unpredictable textbook costs, regardless of class enrollment or required materials, with the added benefit of immediate access by the first day of classes.
“We are excited to introduce this new student-centric initiative through the UCLA Store, reinforcing our commitment to academic accessibility, affordability and excellence at UCLA,” said Peter Poon, UCLA Store Director.
Bruin One Access builds upon the invaluable Inclusive Access program, which provides all UCLA students immediate, online access to course materials while saving over traditional print textbooks. Saving students $1.3 million throughout the 2023-2024 academic year, an Inclusive Access option will still be available as part of Bruin One Access in the fall 2024 quarter for those who wish to utilize the program for individualized course material needs rather than the flat-rate option.
Bruin One Access is a course material resource provided through UCLA Store Textbooks, a student-run enterprise of Associated Students UCLA (ASUCLA).
