Connect with on-campus opportunities at the ASUCLA Job Fair

Find a job at the ASUCLA Job Fair on Sept. 24 and explore student-oriented positions located on the UCLA campus.

Los Angeles, Calif., Sept. 19, 2024 – This fall, Associated Students UCLA (ASUCLA) invites all UCLA students to the annual job fair on Sept. 24. As the largest student employer on the UCLA campus, ASUCLA is dedicated to providing flexible positions that support academic success and valuable work experience to further career opportunities post-grad.

Located in Bruin Plaza, across from the UCLA Store at Ackerman Union, head over to the ASUCLA Job Fair anytime between 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. to learn about ASUCLA and all open positions. There will be on-site applications, interviews and hiring; therefore participants are encouraged to bring resumes for submission. 

“As a student-centered organization, ASUCLA provides amazing opportunities for students to build new connections while gaining valuable hands-on experience,” said Rami Vail, ASUCLA Human Resources (HR) director. “Our diverse range of roles helps prepare student employees for future career success by equipping them with essential workplace skills. We also understand the importance of academic commitments, which is why we offer flexible hours and the convenience of on-campus jobs that eliminates the need to commute.”

ASUCLA employs approximately 1,400 student workers each year. At the job fair, recruitment is open for all ASUCLA divisions with vacancies, including ASUCLA Restaurants, the UCLA Store, ASUCLA Student Union and Event Services, Finance, Marketing, HR and Information Technology (IT). Students can apply for a range of positions, including sound technician, Kerckhoff Coffee House customer representative, UCLA Computer Store representative, BearWear customer service representative and more.

Students employed with ASUCLA also receive benefits such as 20% off at the UCLA Store and a rapid promotion schedule, allowing students in every department the chance to become student supervisors and earn higher wages.
