Los Angeles, Calif., April 4, 2022 – Following Associated Students UCLA’s (ASUCLA) formal viewing last Friday, muralist Judy Baca’s latest work, “La Memoria de la Tierra: UCLA” is now on display at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) campus for all to enjoy.

ASUCLA welcomed the UCLA community and art enthusiasts alike to the Wescom Student Terrace on April 1 to catch the first glimpse of Baca’s latest work of art and gaze into her depiction of the land Bruins and Angelenos call home; the student-centered association led efforts to establish the mural as yet another unique characteristic of the UCLA experience in partnership with the UCLA Centennial Committee.

“For all of us to be blessed with this honor tonight, actually see the unveiling of the piece that is going to be the source of pride for Bruins present, past and future, is quite a treat," Pouria Abbassi, ASUCLA executive director and CEO, said at the unveiling event.
