In addition to the adjustments made to the roster, there have been some exciting changes for the coaching staff on the soccer team. Margueritte Aozasa will be the head coach of the team for her third season. Her biography on UCLA Athletics notes how, in 2022, she became the first rookie head coach and first woman of color to win the NCAA Division I championship for women’s soccer.

The 2024 UCLA Women’s Soccer coaching staff has seen a new addition and promotion to the team since 2023. Aozasa announced Molly Feighnan as the new UCLA Women’s Soccer assistant coach in April 2024. Feighnan will join Molly Poletto, the other assistant coach; Poletto is entering her third season in the position. In addition to adding an assistant coach, Gof Boyoko was promoted to associate head coach of the UCLA Women’s Soccer team. Boyoko will be going into his third season as well, as a part of Aozasa’s original staff.
