UCLA student jobs

On campus student jobs available through ASUCLA jobs website

UCLA student jobs are always available on campus through Associated Students UCLA (ASUCLA). ASUCLA is the largest student employer on campus, employing over 1,500 UCLA students campus-wide. Check out the openings using the link below and find your on-campus job today.

Student workers receive benefits such as a 20% off employee discount on BearWear and other UCLA store items, a flexible schedule to accommodate a rigorous academic life and convenient job locations on the UCLA campus, removing the need to carve out any commuting time. ASUCLA restaurant employees also get discounts on meals and free drinks from on-campus restaurants.

In addition, ASUCLA jobs have a rapid promotion schedule, according to the Student Benefits page on the ASUCLA website. For example, ASUCLA Restaurants promote more than half of its student employees to supervisory positions, allowing students to build upon their starting wage and add more impressive roles to their resumes. Check out the Student Benefits page below for more information on ASUCLA job benefits.

There are many divisions within ASUCLA that offer job openings to students: Food Services, UCLA Store, Human Resources, the Student Union, Marketing, Finance and IT.

Some of the most frequent job openings on the ASUCLA website are for Restaurants and UCLA Store staff because of the many locations throughout campus. From ASUCLA Restaurants' LuValle, Kerckhoff Coffeehouse and the new Epicuria at Ackerman, to UCLA Store locations like the Health Sciences Store, Hill Store and the main UCLA Store in Ackerman Student Union — there's a plethora of job opportunities for students.

All UCLA Store locations can also be found in the “UCLA Stores” tab of the main ASUCLA page here

Throughout all opportunities at ASUCLA, students are not only paid for their work, but gain valuable experience to put on their resumes. Students can develop skills pertaining to their job; those working in the Marketing Department gain knowledge about managing social media accounts, video editing, photoshop, graphic design and art just as those working in the HR Department perform data entry across various HR systems and manage documents and personnel files. Students can thus build attractive skills for their resume, right on campus.
