Plan the perfect date for National Girlfriend Day

Celebrate National Girlfriend Day by planning a date for the special partner in your life. You don’t have to look too far for great date activities; there’s plenty to do on the UCLA campus.

Here are some of the top date spots at UCLA:

Picnic on Tongva Steps (also known as Janss Steps)

This is a great chill date to try out! All you need is a blanket, sandwiches (or other picnic food of choice), and of course, your partner. Take cute couple pictures, lounge around in the grass and watch the sunset over the hills of Westwood.

Planetarium Shows

Would you give your girlfriend the moon and the stars? This is the next best thing! The UCLA Planetarium has free public planetarium shows most Wednesday nights. If holding hands and learning about the wonders of space sounds like a fun time, this is a great date idea for two.

Fowler Museum

Do you both love art? No need to go all the way to the Getty – the Fowler Museum is right on campus! The Fowler Museum features art from cultures around the world and the exhibitions change every few months, so it’s definitely worth visiting again and again. Admission is free and the Fowler Museum is open Wednesday to Sunday.

Happy National Girlfriend Day, Bruins! Make sure you take the time to make your partner feel special not just today, but every day.
