Explore event space options at ASUCLA

Event space rentals for conferences, receptions, performances and trade shows are available on the UCLA campus through Associated Students UCLA (ASUCLA). Visit the ASUCLA Event Services website and book one of ASUCLA’s event space rentals using the link below.

ASUCLA Event Services helps event organizers coordinate all event needs, including technical equipment, catering and staffing. Event organizers can choose from any of the ASUCLA event spaces, including but not limited to the spaces listed below:

Indoor event space rentals

Ackerman Grand Ballroom: With an area of 13,766 square feet and a maximum occupancy of 1,500 guests, Ackerman Grand Ballroom is the largest ASUCLA indoor event space and one of UCLA’s largest ballrooms. Performance planners are drawn to the ballroom’s stage, which comes with its own sound and lighting system.

Charles E. Young Grand Salon: Events in Kerckhoff Hall’s Charles E. Young Grand Salon feel just a bit more luxurious thanks to the space’s wood detailing, stained-glass windows and chandeliers. Charles E. Young Grand Salon is a smaller venue than the expansive Ackerman Grand Ballroom, and it is best for intimate receptions of 150 people and under.

Bruin Reception Room: Located in Ackerman Union, this space has a large area that accommodates up to 220 guests. The Bruin Reception Room comes with several TV screens mounted on pillars, so any guest in the room can view at least one screen. The room also encapsulates UCLA school spirit through the UCLA crest detailed on the blue-and-gold wall and large pictures of iconic UCLA locations and history on display.

Bruin Viewpoint Room: This Ackerman Union space is well-suited for talks; speakers can present from the podium and use the space’s two large screens for visual aid. The Bruin Viewpoint Room has enough space to seat up to 130 people theater-style.

Outdoor event space rentals

Kerckhoff Patio: Host an intimate outdoor gathering in this UCLA courtyard and take in all of  Kerckhoff Hall’s beautiful gothic architecture: its towers, its stained-glass windows, and its graceful arches.

Bruin Plaza: Bruin Plaza is the heart of UCLA campus, and it’s a great place for an outdoor performance. Perform on the Bruin Plaza stage, right across from the iconic UCLA Bruin statue.
