Listed are different rentals located on the UCLA campus; there are a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces through ASUCLA available to book. Before booking a room for my event, I previewed the event rental spaces near me using the ASUCLA venue gallery, which provides pictures and 360-tour experiences for each venue. The venue gallery is available through the link below.

Indoor Event Spaces

Ackerman Grand Ballroom is the largest indoor event space under ASUCLA and one of the largest ballrooms at UCLA. This spacious venue includes a stage with a sound and lighting system, and its walls are draped with velvety blue curtains.

Kerckhoff Grand Salon is a smaller venue than the expansive Grand Ballroom, but its wood detailing, stained-glass windows and chandeliers give it an air of gothic elegance.

The Bruin Reception Room is well-suited to less centralized conferences; it’s a large space with screens attached to pillars in the middle of the room.

Meanwhile, the Bruin Viewpoint Room is better for giving talks; speakers are able to make use of the two large screens and podium at the front of the room, and the room has enough space to seat around 100.

Outdoor Event Spaces

For those who need to accommodate for COVID-19 precautions, outdoor event spaces are great venue choices because they allow more circulation of fresh air and distance between guests during an event.

Located on the second floor of Ackerman Student Union, the Wescom Student Terrace has ample room to mingle. Its unique arches provide shade from the Los Angeles sun and guests have a rooftop view of Bruin Plaza, the heart of the UCLA campus.

Kerckhoff Hall Patio is another delightful courtyard tucked into the side of Kerckhoff Hall with a smaller space for more intimate outdoor gatherings. All of Kerckhoff Hall’s gothic architecture is on display: its towers, its stained-glass windows, and its graceful arches.

Additional Event Services

ASUCLA additionally provides the option for quality catering for events. Organizers can choose from a variety of food options: gourmet sandwiches and wraps, buffets, hors d’oeuvres and even cheese displays. Explore the full ASUCLA catering menu through the link below.

Another service ASUCLA offers is custom printing; anyone interested in shirts to commemorate a gathering or event posters and banners can have them printed through Bruin Custom Print. Order prints in-person at Ackerman Union A-level.
