Los Angeles, Calif., Aug. 3, 2023 – The Real Madrid football club was welcomed to the UCLA campus on July 20 as a part of their nearly week-long training before the friendly match against AC Milan on July 23 at the Rose Bowl. On behalf of the UCLA Store, an enterprise of Associated Students UCLA, both teams were gifted UCLA caps to mark their time spent at UCLA, with AC Milan present on campus on July 29.

The UCLA Store also supported the fan engagement throughout the end of July with a pop-up shop to supply essentials and gear for the crowds as they gathered to meet the Real Madrid and AC Milan players.

“It was a pleasure to welcome both clubs to the UCLA Store and welcome them as part of the Bruin community with their new UCLA caps,” said Peter Poon, UCLA Store director. “ASUCLA wish both clubs success in their season ahead.”
