Experience An Evening of Fashion and Support Cancer Research at Ackerman Union

Westwood, Calif. – Feb. 22, 2020 – The Iranian Student Group (ISG) is hosting the 2nd Annual Evening of Fashion, where the entire UCLA community is invited to explore the latest trends as well as to raise funds for the Persian American Cancer Institute (PACI).

The 2nd Annual Evening of Fashion will take place in the Ackerman Grand Ballroom on Feb. 22, 7-10 p.m. The fashion show will include a custom-built, 40-foot catwalk extension where Persian community fashion designers, Jila Atelier and Shahla Dorriz, will showcase their latest fashions modeled by UCLA students.

Comedian Maz Jobrani will host an Evening of Fashion. Additionally, iconic Iranian musician, Ebi, will perform and Dr. Robery Huizenga and Dr. Ashkan Otoukesh will serve as guest speakers. The cancer patients and survivors participating in the event are UCLA students as well.

Tickets are available online at www.paci.org/tickets. Student tickets cost $25, while General Admission tickets cost $50. There are also VIP packages available, starting at $160.

The Ackerman Grand Ballroom is one of many iconic ASUCLA venues where students, staff, and faculty can gather and participate in many enriching experiences. In addition to fundraisers, ASUCLA venues are available for student groups, campus partners and private off-campus clients to host their events, such as speaker series, movie screenings, ballroom dancing lessons, social events, and more.
