ASUCLA wishes graduating Bruins well into the future, supports 29 commencement ceremonies, celebrations
Between June 12-16, ASUCLA is supporting 29 UCLA commencement events with Student Union facilities, catering, flowers and refreshment services.
Los Angeles, Calif., June 14, 2024 – Congratulations, Class of 2024, for your academic achievements! Associated Students UCLA (ASUCLA) will once again be celebrating Bruins’ academic milestones this year, hosting eight graduation ceremonies and celebrations in ASUCLA Student Union facilities and supporting events across campus with ASUCLA Catering between June 12-16.
Located in the heart of the UCLA campus, the ASUCLA spaces of Charles E. Young Grand Salon, Ackerman Grand Ballroom and Wescom Student Terrace will be transformed into elegant graduation stages and receptions, welcoming Bruins and their families to commemorate the symbolic ceremonies.
The 2024 ceremonies and celebrations held within the ASUCLA Student Union include the departments of the Department of Medicine (DOM) Geriatric Medicine Fellowship, UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music, UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs (undergraduates), Department of Molecular Cell and Developmental Biology, Neuroscience, UCLA Statistics and Data Science, Physics and Astronomy and the Institute of the Environment and Sustainability.
“On behalf of your student union, ASUCLA is honored to have been a part of your collegiate journey at UCLA,” said Pamela Lewis, ASUCLA Student Union Services Director. “We are proud to recognize your accomplishments as you prepare to embark on a new journey.”
ASUCLA services will be available on campus over the graduation weekend to support Bruins and their families. Graduation regalia services, refreshment and floral arrangement options will be provided from the UCLA Store throughout the campus for visitors.
ASUCLA Catering will further be servicing seven of the ASUCLA held-events and 21 additional ceremonies across campus with meals and hors d’oeuvres over the weekend from Boyer Hall in south campus, Pauley Pavilion in central campus, to Royce Hall on the north end and many more.
