ASUCLA welcomes Pamela Lewis as Student Union Services director
As the new director of the ASUCLA Student Union Services, Pamela Lewis brings a wealth of experience in student affairs and is now focusing on enriching the student life on campus.
Los Angeles, Calif., Oct. 6, 2023 – Beginning her role on Oct. 2, Pamela Lewis joined Associated Students UCLA (ASUCLA) as the services director of the ASUCLA Student Union. With an impressive background in student affairs and a passion for creating vibrant campus communities, Lewis is ready to lead the way in elevating student engagement and experiences at UCLA through the ASUCLA Student Union.

In her role at ASUCLA, Lewis will oversee the day-to-day operations and programming of the ASUCLA Student Union in fostering a sense of belonging and community among the diverse student body at UCLA. As well, Lewis will serve as the lead liaison for campus partners, including the facilitation of student government functions.
Lewis previously served at California State University, Long Beach as the senior director of Multicultural Affairs between 2021-2023; the director of Community Partnerships and Women’s and Gender Equity Center between 2018-2021; the Assistant Director of Conduct/Title IX Investigator 2016-2018 and worked for Associated Students, Incorporated at California State University, Long Beach between 2002-2016.
