ASUCLA to Host Tailgate Party at Ackerman Union for UCLA vs. Utah Football Game
Westwood, Calif. – Nov. 14, 2019 – Do you love UCLA football but won’t be trekking to Utah for the game? ASUCLA has you covered – ASUCLA is throwing a tailgate party on campus when UCLA faces No. 8 Utah on Saturday, Nov. 16, at 5 p.m.
The tailgate party, presented by Under Armour, will take place at the Ackerman A-Level TV Lounge (aka The Cooperage), where Bruin fans can enjoy a DJ spinning popular tunes, games, and over $1,000 in giveaways. There will also be every college student’s favorite thing – free food! The first 100 students can chow down on a Carl’s Jr. Famous Star (with cheese) and the first 200 students will receive free hot dogs and popcorn.
Additionally, the first 300 students will get a Den t-shirt. Other giveaways include a UCLA bike, tickets to a UCLA men’s basketball game, a basketball signed by players on the men’s basketball team, and many more.
“Football season brings out the passion and pride that Bruin fans have at UCLA, and ASUCLA is very excited to be hosting a tailgate on campus, so students can feel that game-day spirit even when the Bruins are away,” said Ari Baron, ASUCLA Marketing Director. “We are always looking for new opportunities to create memorable experiences for our students.”
The UCLA vs. Utah tailgate party is the latest watch party hosted by ASUCLA. Previously, ASUCLA hosted watch parties for the Super Bowl, The Academy Awards and the GRAMMYs.
