ASUCLA debuts Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf at Anderson Café, expands Peet’s Coffee to ScrubJay Café

Bruins can now enjoy Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf roasts at Anderson Café, ASUCLA Catering and Concessions, and Peet’s Coffee beans at ScrubJay Café.

Los Angeles, Calif., Aug. 14, 2024 – This summer, welcome the new brews of Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf to Anderson Café and the expansion of hand-roasted Peet’s Coffee to ScrubJay Café.

Now available, ScrubJay Café is joining Jimmy’s Coffeehouse, Café 451, Southern Lights and Café Synapse with responsibly sourced coffee from Peet’s Coffee. A new coffee bean provider at Associated Students UCLA (ASUCLA) Restaurants, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf’s small farm-forward beans will also be available through ASUCLA Catering and Concessions for on-campus gatherings and athletic events.

“As the start of the new academic year is just around the corner, we invite all new and returning Bruins to try our new coffeehouse additions,” said Cindy Bolton, ASUCLA Restaurants director.

As a responsive, student-centered organization, the ASUCLA Board of Directors recommended the introduction of a new provider that meets the needs of the UCLA community and continues the versatility of product offerings.

Bruins can enjoy their perfect brew no matter where they are on campus with coffeehouse staples like cappuccinos, lattes and seasonal rotating drinks, now provided by Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf’s top 1% of Arabica beans and Peet’s Coffee hand-roasted and freshly delivered coffee.
