The UCLA vs USC football rivalry goes back to almost a century of historical games; from 1929 to 2024, the UCLA Bruins have gone up against the USC Trojans for a battle of Los Angeles, as the renowned rivalry game is often called. The UCLA vs USC game will take place Saturday evening on Nov. 23 at the Rose Bowl, the UCLA Bruins home stadium in Pasadena. This Big Ten football game is also considered a Blue-Out game, where fans are encouraged to wear blue in support of the Bruins, who have the home game advantage, at the match up. As the two universities alternate hosting the games over the decades, there is a long record between their wins and losses over one another. From the most recent game to the first one of its kind, the UCLA Bruins have won 34 games, lost 52 and tied with USC seven times. Their first matchup was on Sept. 28, 1929, when the Bruins lost 0-76.
