UCLA student directory

The UCLA student directory, also formally known as the UCLA Directory or the UCLA Campus Directory, holds the online contact information for students within the UC system. The UCLA student directory, only accessible to those within the UC community, can be a helpful resource for incoming students joining the Bruin community and searching for fellow students, in addition to looking for faculty or department contact information. The UCLA student directory information can be found on the UCLA directory’s home page by selecting “Find a person at UCLA.” A person’s information can be found in the People Directory, the directory with information on staff, faculty and students. Simply select the People Directory and input a name for a list of people filed in the directory matching the search. 

On the same webpage is the Department Directory that holds information about the different departments at UCLA. For the Department Directory, select “Find a department at UCLA” for contact information and location details. 

For a more in-depth search, hover over the “Advanced Search” option at the top of the webpage of the UCLA student directory. This allows the results to be narrowed down between faculty, staff, students or all three. From there, users can enter a name, email, phone and address to find the UC-affiliated contact they are looking for. Bruins trying to identify contact information for faculty or staff can also enter a URL, campus mail code, department code, department and title within the directory for corresponding listings. 

According to UCLA IT and Directory Services, student listings in the UCLA directory are derived from MyUCLA. Moreover, students looking to change their directory information, visit MyUCLA to adjust online or visit 1113 Murphy Hall on campus for a change form.
