UCLA dining hall hours
Never miss a mealtime at the UCLA dining halls
UCLA dining hall hours vary for each of the 10 locations. Before visiting a dining hall at UCLA, check the UCLA Dining Services website through the link below to view the hours for each hall.
Meal periods
UCLA dining hall hours fall under defined meal periods: breakfast, lunch, dinner, and extended dinner. Here are the general hours for each meal period:
Breakfast: 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Lunch: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Dinner: 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Extended dinner: 9 p.m. to midnight
There are some exceptions to this rule: Rendezvous and the food trucks provide lunch until 3 p.m., and De Neve doesn’t begin its extended dinner until 10 p.m. Additionally, some dining halls are only open for certain meal periods: breakfast is limited to three of the dining locations, and Epicuria is only open for dinner.
To be sure that a certain dining hall is open, double check the UCLA dining hall hours using the link above.
Menus
The UCLA Dining Services Menu is another resource students can use to decide where they want to go for a meal. This website shows which UCLA dining halls are open for ongoing and upcoming meal periods and how busy the dining halls are. There are also quick links to the menus for each eatery. The menu websites don’t just inform students about what each dining hall is serving — they also provide nutrition and allergen information for each item on the menu.
Food trucks
In fall 2021, UCLA began inviting local food trucks to provide more dining options for students and cut down on waiting times at the UCLA dining halls. Different food trucks park at Sproul and Rieber Court during lunch and dinner every day; there might be tacos and Thai street food on some days, while other days may bring Japanese curry and barbeque.
Since the food trucks change each day, you can check out the UCLA dining hall hours website or the UCLA Dining Services Menu to see which trucks will be ready to serve meals on Residential Hill on a particular day.
