Recognizing Juneteenth at UCLA 

Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day or Black Independence Day, is a federal holiday that observes the end of slavery in America. UCLA Summer Sessions stated that all classes and programs will not be in session on June 19, in observance of the holiday.
