What is Associated Students UCLA (ASUCLA)? Is it the student government? Student media? Student services? The short answer is: yes, all of the above and more!
Keep reading to learn more about ASUCLA, your student union, and how it serves all students and the entire UCLA community:
ASUCLA was created when UCLA first opened its doors in 1919, and has since grown into the largest student association in the country. ASUCLA’s goal is to provide innovative and excellent services, programs, products, and facilities for the entire UCLA community through its four entities: Undergraduate Students Association (USA), Graduate Students Association (GSA), Student Media, and Student-Run Services & Enterprises.
ASUCLA has had an undeniable impact on the UCLA campus; through its student-run enterprises, ASUCLA runs the on-campus restaurants and UCLA Stores, and it hosts community-building events like T-shirt design competitions and Super Bowl watch parties.
