Gaming and Esports at UCLA
July 8 is National Video Game Day! At UCLA, there is a thriving community of Bruins who love to play video games. From student organizations dedicated to video games to club esports teams and on-campus gaming centers, there are plenty of opportunities for gamers to gather and play their favorite games.
Gaming clubs on campus
There are several clubs at UCLA for gamers of all skill levels to gather and play together. Some general gaming clubs to check out include Bruin Gaming (Bruin GG), a gaming club with a focus on building the gaming community at UCLA through social events, and Cozy Gamers Guild, which provides a more casual and approachable space for gamers.

Gaming centers on campus
The residential hill has two gaming spaces: the Sunset Village Learning Center video game lounge and Eclipse Gaming & Dev Lounge.
Sunset Village Learning Center video game lounge offers a more casual gaming experience, with couches and three TV monitors for console gaming. Meanwhile, Eclipse Gaming & Dev Lounge has a wider range of equipment, including high-end gaming PCs, a retro arcade machine and next-generation consoles like Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.
