First Thursdays UCLA

First Thursdays UCLA, also formally known as UCLA First Thursdays, is an event held on the first Thursday of select months and has various themes. According to the UCLA Special Events website regarding First Thursdays, it is UCLA’s award-winning series that aims to bring the Bruin community together throughout the academic year. Also known as UCLA F1rst Thursdays, First Thursdays UCLA is held in Westwood Village, allowing easy access for Bruins near campus to come together and enjoy various activities, food and plenty of photo opportunities. There is free admission for the event and includes many surprises for attendees. 

Looking ahead… 

With First Thursdays UCLA events scheduled and planned throughout the academic year, there will be several event updates that take place. To stay up-to-date, click the “Subscribe For Updates” linked button at the top of the webpage to get email updates on future UCLA First Thursdays event details. 

The first event for the 2024-2025 academic year was held on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2024. The event included a Westwood Wander Experience between 7-9 p.m. at UCLA First Thursdays: Fall Edition, with free food, coupons and a T-shirt giveaway for those who collected special wristbands from a handful of nearby Westwood businesses. 

The second First Thursdays UCLA event will be held on March 6, 2025, between 7-10 p.m. This will be the First Thursdays: Winter Edition event, held during the later weeks of winter quarter. There will also be a First Thursdays: Spring Edition on May 1, 2025, between 7-10 p.m., during spring quarter.

Those interested in attending can also click the event and fill in their contact information and answer other event-related questions under “Register Here” on the right side of the webpage.
