Election season begins for UCLA students
UCLA students will have the opportunity to vote in the annual UCLA student body elections to elect their new government officers and vote on specific measures for the 2024-2025 term.
Los Angeles, Calif., April 17, 2024 – The 2024 spring quarter kicks off election season for the UCLA student body. Through the elections, UCLA students will have the chance to vote for their 2024-2025 student government officers and ballot propositions, approved by the student governments and their respective UCLA Elections Boards, to take effect in the 2024-2025 academic year.
Elections will commence for graduate and professional UCLA students first, with ballots opening at noon on April 17 via my.ucla.edu. After voting closes on April 24 at noon, the graduate UCLA Elections Board will confer to determine and announce the results on April 25. For questions about the Graduate Students Association (GSA) election, email elections@gsa.asucla.ucla.edu.
Closing out the elections season, undergraduate students will have the opportunity to vote in their election beginning May 3 at 2 p.m. via my.ucla.edu through May 10 at 2 p.m. Final results will be validated by the undergraduate UCLA Elections Board and announced later that day. GSA and USA are entities of Associated Students UCLA; however, all UCLA student election operations are run by the respective, independent UCLA Elections Boards.
