Daily Bruin receives 20 college media awards at annual convocation

From first place Best Newspaper Website, second place Best Print Magazine to third place Best Newspaper — the Daily Bruin accepted an array of awards at the annual CCMA ceremony.

Westwood, Calif., March 10, 2022 – With heads held high after the California College Media Association awards last Saturday, the Daily Bruin staff walked away with not one, but 20 awards for their excellent journalistic work during the 2021-2022 academic year.

“We are grateful to be recognized by the California College Media Association and are incredibly proud of our student staff,” said Cecile Wu, Daily Bruin managing editor. “Our writers, photographers, designers, artists, programmers and editors contribute so much energy and passion to this organization, so it’s only right that they are appreciated for their work."
