Resources:

A resource that catalogs how to transition from a student to a intern, part-time, or full-time employee, including tips on what to wear, making the most of the first three months, and how to set financial goals, manage benefits and invest in your future

I-9 Form*

Verifies identity and employment authorization for employment in the United States. Required forms of identification for citizens & non-citizens differ.

Examples include a passport, permanent resident card, driver’s license (need another method to prove eligibility for employment), or military/state ID.

W-4 Form*

Helps the employer determine how much of your paycheck to withhold for federal income tax (personal allowance worksheet) (changed time on account of additional jobs, marriage, divorce, and pregnancy).

You do not need to calculate a percentage that you want to deduct from your paycheck for taxes yourself. Your employer will complete this part using the information you disclose.

Direct Deposit Form*

Easily set up direct deposit and have your paycheck sent directly to your bank account. Access the step-by-step Direct Deposit Guide for instructions. For additional assistance, contact ASUCLA Human Resources and Payroll here.
