Want to Get Away? Visit the UCLA Travel Fair

Westwood, Calif. – Feb. 12, 2020 – If you’re dealing with wanderlust and already looking forward to your next vacation, have we got news for you – today from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., visit the Ackerman Grand Ballroom and experience the 20th Annual UCLA Travel Fair.

UCLA students, staff and faculty are invited to check out the Travel Fair, where members of the campus community can interact with representatives from 75 vendors such as Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Contiki Travels, Dominican Republic Tourism Board, Jamaica Tourist Bureau, Los Cabos Tourism Board, Marriott International, San Diego Zoo and San Diego Zoo Safari Park, and more. More than 2,000 Bruins are expected to attend the Travel Fair this year, where they’ll have the opportunity to learn about how to utilize UCLA Travel for business and leisure purposes as well as enter giveaways for prizes (bring your business cards!).

New this year is a series of Travel Sessions for UCLA travelers and travel arrangers, which will be held in the Kerckhoff Hall Charles E. Young Grand Salon. Topics range from Hotel Direct Bill (9 a.m.), Concur Online Travel booking (10 a.m.), and Meeting and Group Planning (2 p.m.). To register for a Travel Session, go to www.lms.ucla.edu and search for course code: “2020 Travel Sessions at the Travel Fair” by clicking on the “Find a course” icon on the homepage.

The Ackerman Grand Ballroom and Charles E. Young Grand Salon are two of many ASUCLA venues on campus where events such as the UCLA Travel Fair take place. In addition to business-focused opportunities, ASUCLA venues are available for student groups to host their events, such as speaker series, movie screenings, ballroom dancing lessons, social events, and more. For more on the happenings at Ackerman Union, check out the events calendar on www.asucla.ucla.edu or download the ASUCLA App.
